🌿 Wellness Wednesdays
Create the Heat
Heat isn’t just about sweating.
When we increase pace, resistance or cardiovascular demand, we ask the body to adapt. But intensity should still have intention behind it.
A challenging class doesn’t need to leave someone completely exhausted to be effective. As teachers, we can create heat while still watching alignment, breath, coordination and quality.
🔥 Ask yourself:
When you increase the intensity of your class, what changes first—pace, resistance, complexity or range?
🌿 Reflection Question:
How do you know when your client is being appropriately challenged versus simply struggling?
