🌿 Wellness Wednesday 🌿
One of the most important parts of becoming a great teacher is remaining a practitioner of the work.
When our schedules fill with teaching, planning, cueing, and supporting others, our own practice is often the first thing to disappear. Yet it is our personal practice that deepens our understanding, refines our awareness, and continually reminds us what it feels like to be the student.
Every time we step onto the mat, reformer, chair, or Cadillac, we learn something new. We discover challenges, breakthroughs, compensations, and connections that no textbook can teach.
Your practice is not separate from your teaching—it is one of your greatest teaching tools.
This week, I encourage you to choose one of the filmed workouts inside Pilates Compass and do it for yourself. Experience the movement, the challenges, and the flow from the perspective of a student.
Then come back and let us know—which class was your favorite? What did you learn from the experience?
Move. Breathe. Explore. Become the student again. ✨
