Install Pilates Compass on your phone

Add Pilates Compass to your home screen and it opens like any other app — full screen, no browser bar, one tap away. It also lets us send you a notification when a new video, playlist or monthly theme goes live.

On iPhone or iPad

Use Safari. Chrome and Firefox on iPhone cannot install apps.

  1. Open Pilates Compass in Safari and tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
  3. Tap Add in the top right corner.
  4. Close Safari and open Pilates Compass from your home screen.

You will be asked to sign in one more time. That is normal: iPhone keeps the app separate from Safari, so it starts with a fresh session. It only happens once.

On Android

Use Chrome.

  1. Open Pilates Compass in Chrome and tap the three dots menu in the top right.
  2. Tap Install app — or Add to Home screen on older versions of Chrome.
  3. Confirm with Install.
  4. Open Pilates Compass from your home screen or app drawer.

Turn on notifications

  1. Open Pilates Compass from your home screen, not from your browser.
  2. On your dashboard, tap Enable notifications.
  3. Tap Allow when your phone asks.

You will get a notification when a new video, a new playlist or the new monthly theme goes live — nothing else. You can turn them off at any time from your profile.

Tapped “Don’t allow” by mistake? Your phone remembers that answer, so the app cannot ask again. Open your phone’s Settings, find Pilates Compass, and turn notifications back on there.
